Ronnie would like to thank everyone for their support regarding the upcoming SHINE A LIGHT premiers in New York and London.  Check out the film when it opens near you, then leave a comment to let us know what you think! Ronnie Wood: “…this really gives the audience an idea of what its like to be on stage and at a concert with us, it was such an honour to work Marty, we have such a mutual respect for each others work and everyone is so excited with how it turned out…”  March 2008 

Ronnie is delighted to announce that he will be addressing the Royal Academy of Art tonight for their school annual dinner and auction. He has also donated a fabulous piece to this deserved cause which supports art students with bursaries, awards and grants for materials.  This along with the other donations can be viewed at www.royalacademy.org.uk/schoolsauction The piece he has decided to donate is from a body of work which Ronnie painted back stage at the Royal Ballet.  He was the first artist to be allowed this privilege which I am sure you can image make this pieces even more special.  You can make a bid in advance of the auctioned by contacting the Royal Academy – all proceeds will be used to continue to support young and talents individuals.

Hi everyone and welcome to my page those of you who are new.

I hope that you have all had a peaceful and happy holiday season with your families. I have with mine thank you for all your kind messages and comments, notes and pictures.

With regards to 2008 I am going to be spending some time on my art and also my record label, we are going to be releasing more material on Wooden Records so I will of course keep you posted about that.

In the meantime for those of you who don’t already have them you know you can buy the First Barbarians (CD) and also the New Barbarians (CD &DVD) from all good retailers and on line.

The DVD footage is a combination of my personal archive and also some footage that has been floating around for a while, so it changing from black and white to colour which I think is really cool, but let me know what you think.

We had the audio remastered as well so it sounds great.

Anyway guys please do drop me comments and continue to check out my site, I appreciate all the support.

Hi everyone, and a big thank you to all of you that came down to the screening of my DVD last week in London. what a great night that was!

I did an interview with Clash magazine (thanks Simon) which you can watch below. All the questions were submitted by readers of the magazine which was really cool. I am really excited about the First Barbarians release, and have just found out that it will be released in America in March 2008 through our distributers over there - so all my American fans can get their hands on it too! Anyway thats all for now. More soon. Take it easy and wrap up out there - its COLD! RW xx

Hello all, following the success of ‘The New Barbarians’ CD release earlier
this year, I have decided to release another Barbarians gig ‘The First
Barbarians’, this time including a great DVD of the show!

I feel very sentimental about this gig as it was an amazing time of my life,
working with all those amazing musicians for those two nights after
completing my first solo album, it’s out today (Oct 22nd) and is available
on amazon, if you get it, enjoy it!

PS: Don’t forget to check my caravan, I think the kids and missus might be in there!

As part of our regular updates we shall be featuring a favourite album for you viewing pleasure.
